In that tweet, Musk wrote, “There’s nothing stopping the tesla team at our car plant from voting to join the union. They can always do so if they want to. But why should they pay union dues and give up stock options for nothing?”
The federal agency also demanded that Tesla make Musk delete his offensive tweets and offer a job to fired employee Richard Ortiz. Tesla must also compensate Ortiz for lost income and benefits as a result of his firing, as well as adverse tax consequences.
