A car caught fire in the tunnel on East Yan’an Road near the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Shanghai on the afternoon of March 25, with smoke pouring out of the tunnel.
According to local media reports, at 16:22 on March 25, a small car caught fire in the East Yan’an Road Tunnel Puxi to Pudong direction, the fire was extinguished at 16:47, causing no casualties.
A video released by netizens shows the East Yan’an Road Tunnel in Shanghai, not far from the Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower, pouring out thick smoke.
