Who is the gunman who went on a massacre spree
The 21-year-old gunman, Ahmed Alyssa, was an immigrant from Syria. He said he moved to the United States “at the age of 3” … but from the photos of the scene, the 21-year-old was already bald. He was arrested at 3:28 p.m. after police surrounded the store building, but was taken to the hospital for treatment of a leg injury. He has since been released from the hospital yesterday and is being held in the Boulder County Jail.
Police have not confirmed his motive for the crime. But he has been charged with ten counts of murder.

Kevin’s daughter tweeted a touching photo of Mahoney walking her down the aisle at her wedding last year.
Alongside it read, “I am sad to announce that my father, my big hero Kevin Mahoney, was killed in the shooting of Kim Sopes in my hometown of Boulder, Colorado.” “My dad represented love in everything.” “I am so thankful he was able to walk me down the aisle of Marriage last summer.”
Danny Stoner, 20
Friends say Danny was training to be a pilot. It’s unclear if he went to the grocery store or to get his new crown vaccine.

Lynn Murray, 62
A mother of two and a retired New York City magazine photo director, she worked for Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Glamour before moving to Colorado to raise her children.
Her family revealed that she was filling Instacart orders at the store when the shooting occurred. Her husband, John, told reporters that she was an amazing woman, probably the kindest person I’ve ever met.
“Our lives are ruined and our tomorrow is forever filled with unimaginable sadness. She was one of the greatest people you could ever want to know: hard-working, loving, compassionate, caring, and she went out of her way to make sure everyone else had a smile on their face.
Trelawna Bartkowiak, 49
She runs a small clothing workshop and store in Boulder and, recently, started working on an engagement. It’s unclear whether she comes to the store for vaccinations or to shop.
Her store sells mainly yoga supplies and holiday clothing. In recent years she has participated in festivals such as “Burn” to advertise her Oriental taste clothing business.
Suzanne Fonteyn, 59 years old
Suzanne is a licensed health insurance agent and medical financial advisor. She was supposedly here to represent her on vaccine matters.

In his arrest affidavit, police described how he played with the weapon in front of his family. “About two days ago, Ahmed was seen playing with a gun that she thought looked like a ‘machine gun. The investigation report reads that his sister-in-law was upset that Ahmed was playing with the gun in the house and quietly took it away.
Local officials revealed at a news conference Tuesday morning that some of the victims, who were at the store at the time, were buying COVID-19 New Crown vaccine.
Witnesses described him firing three shots at first, two hitting a customer, then calmly stopping before he opened fire again. One survivor said he did not “spray” the shots indiscriminately.
The harrowing 911 call revealed how worried officers were that he was wearing a tactical bulletproof undershirt. Police officers told callers on the phone that they “had to shoot the terrorist in the head” to bring him down.
As friends and family shared the shock of those killed, photos of the shooter began to emerge.
His 34-year-old brother, Ali, told The Daily Beast he was “deeply disturbed” by his brother’s daily behavior.
Others, including some of his high school classmates and co-workers on his wrestling team, said he was a bitter loser and would throw a fit if he lost a match.
“One thing I can tell you is that he didn’t take losing very well. I remember wrestling…he would get so mad he would throw his hat and refuse to talk to his coach when he lost.”

At a press conference Tuesday morning, officials said they still don’t know what the shooter’s motive was.
