Fourteen states, including Louisiana and Wyoming, launched a lawsuit Wednesday (3/24) local Time against the Biden administration’s moratorium on new oil and gas leasing services on public lands and waters. The Biden Administration issued an executive order on Jan. 27 calling a halt to oil and gas leasing aimed at curbing climate change, in addition to directing the Interior Secretary to thoroughly review existing fossil fuel development permits.
