Project Veritas reports that the court has awarded Project Veritas a huge victory over the New York Times.
On March 18, Justice Charles D. Wood of the New York Supreme Court in Westchester County denied the New York Times’ motion to dismiss in a defamation lawsuit brought by Project Veritas.
“The Truth Project’s lawsuit against the New York Times arose out of defamatory attacks by the Times during the 2020 election as a result of the Truth Project’s investigation into illegal vote collection in Minnesota.
The court held that the Truth Project should be allowed to “conduct discovery” because it had proven that “defendants [the New York Times] acted with actual malice in knowing that the statements in the article were false or with reckless disregard for whether they were false.
The Truth Project will depose New York Times reporter Maggie Astor and New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet, who will be forced to answer the Truth Project’s questions.
The Truth Project says it will record the testimony and expose it for the world to see.
