This March move by the Chinese Communist Party adds to the woes of U.S.-China relations
The Wall Street Journal reported that data from commodity data firm Kpler showed that Chinese Communist Party oil imports from Iran reached an estimated 918,000 barrels per day in March, the highest since the U.S. imposed a full oil embargo on Iran two years ago. Other agencies believe the value could be 1 million barrels per day.
Iranian oil industry expert Sara Vakhshouri noted that if this value is correct, Iran would have no incentive to negotiate with the U.S.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Communist Party has seen an increase in oil imports from Venezuela. Reports suggest that the increased oil trade between Beijing and Washington’s two top enemies is a major boost to already strained U.S.-China relations.

Neutral countries are not tolerated! Switzerland’s first clear “China Strategy” issued by the Chinese Communist Embassy jumped to its feet
The Swiss Federal Council released its “China Strategy” on 19 local time, spelling out Switzerland’s diplomatic strategy toward the Chinese Communist Party. Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis said that the Swiss government’s policy is beginning to shift, and that “human rights issues are no longer the exclusive task of the Foreign Ministry, but the responsibility of the entire Swiss government. “
Cassis expressed concern about the gradual restriction of democratic politics in Hong Kong and the violation of human rights of the Uighurs in Xinjiang. He said Switzerland has made these concerns clear to Beijing and has banned Swiss military-industrial companies from continuing to supply ammunition to the Hong Kong police.
In response, the Chinese Communist Party’s diplomatic war wolves are back on the scene, with a spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland criticizing “these statements by the Swiss government deviate from basic facts and are not conducive to the healthy development of Sino-Swiss relations. China is firmly opposed to this …… requesting the Swiss government to abandon its ideological bias and move in the same direction as the Chinese side.”
