A video has been circulating online of a young Chinese man raging against a hospital for not giving his father anesthesia for an operation just because he did not pay enough money. Netizens have accused the Chinese Communist system of turning doctors into devils.
The Shake video, which recently went viral, shows a young man berating hospital personnel in a suspected conference hall. He says his father told him that he was pressed into surgery last year at the hospital “without medication” because he had paid 3,000 yuan less. The young man then shouted, “What the hell is wrong with this society? What the hell is wrong with it?”
The video clip does not show when it was shot, but many people at the scene were wearing masks, so it appears to have been shot recently. The video is also unidentifiable as to its location, but the caption includes the words “Since ancient times, there have been many unjust souls in Gusu,” which is suspected to be near Suzhou City.
On Chinese social media, many netizens are talking about the incident and asking authorities to investigate it thoroughly.
The video was posted on overseas Twitter and also caused a lot of discussion. Some netizens believe that in mainland hospitals, if you don’t pay enough for the surgery you simply won’t be given the surgery, so they speculate that the old man may have not been given the red envelope.
Some netizens mentioned similar “accidents” they know of.

In response to the young man’s angry questioning in the video, some netizens replied that the root cause was the Chinese Communist Party‘s policy of “industrialization of health care”.
