Hao Zejun, 57, is a native of Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, but has long served in Inner Mongolia’s political and legal system. From August 1982, Hao Zejun worked at the Dongsheng City Public Security Bureau of Ikezhao League, and then served as deputy chief of the Jiefang Road Police Station of Dongsheng City Public Security Bureau, chief of the Yangchang Trench Police Station of Dongsheng City Public Security Bureau, and captain of the Criminal Police Team of Dongsheng City Public Security Bureau; from November 1995, he served as deputy director, party secretary and director of the Dongsheng City Public Security Bureau of Ikezhao League; from January 1998 to February 2000, he served as Ikezhao League From January 1998 to February 2000, he served as Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Public Security Bureau of Zhunger Banner, and then as a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Public Security Bureau of Ikezhao League.
Since May 2002, Hao Zejun has been transferred to the office director of the Inner Mongolia Public Security Department, and since October 2006, he has also been a member of the Party Committee of the Inner Mongolia Public Security Department; since January 2009, he has been the chief of the Traffic Police Headquarters of the Inner Mongolia Public Security Department (deputy department level); since April 2011, he has been a member of the party group and deputy procurator-general of the Inner Mongolia Procuratorate; since May 2016, he has been the deputy secretary-general of the Inner Mongolia government, secretary of the party group and director of the Legal Affairs Office ;
Since October 2018, Hao Zejun was transferred to the Inner Mongolia Emergency Management Office as Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director; from March to April 2020, he was Secretary of the Party Committee of the Inner Mongolia Judicial Department and the first political member of the Regional Prison Administration; then until his fall as Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Inner Mongolia Judicial Department.
Once served in the same position as Hao Zejun, former party secretary and director of the Inner Mongolia Judicial Department and former party secretary of the Inner Mongolia Prison Administration, Xu Hohol, was investigated during the Fifth Plenary Session of the CPC last year and was arrested on February 10, 2021, on suspicion of bribery.
In addition, on March 19, Li Chengren, former deputy mayor of Baotou City and director of the Public Security Bureau of Inner Mongolia, fell from the horse. Li Chengren has been retired for more than 4 years.
Li Chengren is a native of Minqin County, Gansu Province, but he has been serving in Inner Mongolia and is serving in the public security system in Inner Mongolia.
Since February 28, 2020, the Chinese Communist Party‘s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) has been investigating officials for 20 years, and since then, officials in Inner Mongolia have fallen frequently, especially those in the energy and coal sectors.
