The identity of the white woman who attacked a Korean woman on the streets of Manhattan, calling her “go back to Communist China,” has been revealed as Maura Moynihan, daughter of the late Democratic U.S. Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, but she says she There is no racism or prejudice against Asians.

Maria Ha, a Korean-American fashion blogger in New York City, was on her way to a photo shoot at 22nd Street and First Avenue in Manhattan on the 14th when she was yelled at by a white woman who said, “You’re not from here, go back to Communist China. Maria then called her U.S.-born Korean husband, and they confronted her about this racist comment, but the white woman ignored it and asked, “Oh? Aren’t you Chinese?” She tried to leave in a cab, and as she drove away, she raised her middle finger and shouted again, “Go back to your country.”

The incident was captured on video by Maria and posted online, urging everyone to find the white woman; Maria and her husband called the police, but the incident was defined as harassment.

Mora admitted to WABC Radio 18 that she was the person in the video, but said her actions had nothing to do with racial discrimination or bias against Asians, and that she has not yet been arrested and her name does not appear on the city’s police records.

Mora said she has dedicated her Life to helping people of Asian descent, especially her commitment to protecting the human rights of the Tibetan people and supporting their liberation from communist rule.

Mora is the daughter of the late Democratic U.S. Senator Moynihan, and the recently opened expanded Penn Station Hall is also named after Moynihan and is known as Moynihan Train Hall.
