Republican Senate Committee Chairman Scott amnesty will allow 1.5 million illegal immigrants to obtain U.S. status [A – Federation for American Immigration Reform: Scott amnesty will allow 1.5 million illegal immigrants to successfully obtain U.S. status

A draft plan by National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Rick Scott could provide Amnesty to 1.5 million illegal aliens and put them on a fast-track path to U.S. citizenship, according to a Breitbart News analysis.

An analysis released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) shows that Scott’s plan could put about 1.5 million illegal immigrants on a fast-track path to U.S. citizenship in about 15 years, or by 2036. Under the bill’s provisions, all illegal immigrants who are technically eligible for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) would be eligible for amnesty and green cards. This even includes those who did not bother to apply when the program was first created in 2012.

While Scott’s plan includes provisions to secure funding for a “border wall system,” FAIR, the Federation for American Immigration Reform, called the components “toothless” and noted that amnesty is often the easiest to use fraudulently, and that amnesty fraud is the primary method for illegal aliens to enter the United States.

Scott’s amnesty plan comes at a Time when the number of illegal immigrants in the United States has risen sharply during the first month and a half of President Joe Biden‘s administration.

Last month, federal immigration officials arrested nearly 100,000 border crossers, a 170 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The total number of illegal immigrants who have successfully crossed the border without being detected since October 2020 has surpassed 118,000, according to an exclusive report by Breitbart News.

Meanwhile, Biden’s executive order on asylum has prevented about 90 percent of illegal immigrants from being deported, and the number of illegal aliens held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is already the lowest in the agency’s history.
