In an interview with Fox News, Trump said he would recommend the vaccine to his supporters, “I would recommend it, I would recommend it to a lot of people who don’t want to get it, and a lot of those people voted for me,” and also said, “We have our freedoms and we have to live by them, and I agree with that.
In a primetime interview with Fox host Maria Bartiromo, President Donald Trump said he would recommend the Covid-19 vaccine to his supporters.
Bartiromo asked, “I know you got the vaccine and Mrs. Trump got the vaccine, so would you recommend to our viewers that they get the vaccine?”
“I would. I would recommend it, I would recommend it to a lot of people who don’t want to be vaccinated, and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly, but again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by that, and I agree with that,” President Trump said.” But it’s a good vaccine. It’s a safe vaccine, it’s something that works.”
In a recent appearance on Fox News, Biden‘s medical adviser Anthony Fauci begged Trump to require his supporters to get the vaccine, claiming it was “absolutely inevitable that the vast majority of people who are close followers of his would listen to him.”
According to the report, “On a recent Fox News appearance, Biden’s medical adviser Anthony Fauci begged President Trump to tell his supporters to get vaccinated and bemoaned polls showing low vaccination rates among Republican men.”
On Sunday, Fauci told Chris Wallace, “If he comes out and says, ‘Go get vaccinated. It’s really important for your health, the health of your Family and the health of the country,’ it seems absolutely inevitable that the vast majority of people who are close followers of his would listen to him.”
Fauci also said on NBC’s Meet the Press, “What’s the issue here? It’s a vaccine that’s going to save millions of lives,” he added, “I mean, I just can’t understand what it is when you have a vaccine that’s 94-95% effective and very safe. I just don’t get it.”
