How did the martial lung come about? Former senior investigator of the U.S. Department of State: suspected Chinese chemical weapons leak

Wuhan pneumonia (novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19) has ravaged the world, with nearly 120 million people diagnosed and more than 2.63 million dead, but the origins of the disease are still widely debated. In response, David Asher, a former investigator for the U.S. Department of State and now a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a Washington, D.C., think tank, said that a chemical and biological weapons leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences may have been responsible for the spread of the virus.

During his tenure at the State Department, Asher conducted classified intelligence investigations for both Democrats and Republicans, and led the team that uncovered not only the international nuclear procurement pipeline of Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan’s nuclear bomb, but also the key to North Korea’s concealment of enriched uranium, according to Forsyth News.

Asher believes that Wuhan pneumonia could be a biochemical weapon in development, but that some accident in the process led to a leak, and if this is true, it would have to be the most “successful” weapon of all Time, as it has reduced global GDP by 15 to 20 percent and claimed millions of lives.

Asher noted that China publicly announced in 2007 that it was developing genetic and biological weapons, and in 2016 it banned the Wuhan Institute of Virus from talking about any intelligence, which could be when the People’s Liberation Army began to step in and move from CW defense to CW offense.

China further stopped allowing personnel to publicly explain its research on coronavirus as a chemical weapons vector in 2017, but it was also at this time that the PLA began funding related programs at the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research, raising suspicions, Asher said.

Asher said that the Chinese government’s actions reminded him of the many investigations he has been in charge of, which have included various concealments and conspiracies, not to mention the fact that the initial infected patients appeared in the vicinity of the Wuhan Virus Institute, a fact that is undoubtedly significant.

The Chinese initially claimed that Wuhan pneumonia originated in a local seafood market, but several scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research were hospitalized en masse in November 2019 for an outbreak of flu symptoms, a point earlier than the first officially documented cases in China.
