An employee of a small clinic in Chesterfield County, Virginia, administered a vaccine to people on the 8th, but the syringe was actually empty and no vaccine was administered to the people. But the employee mistakenly thought the vaccine had been loaded into the syringe.
The state health department said on the 11th that the clinic immediately contacted the affected people after realizing what had happened. The affected people are now known to have been notified and have returned to the clinic to administer the vaccine again.
However, this unexpected incident made the local people panic, for no one found the “syringe did not fill the vaccine” is strange, but also quite shocked, and even do not want to vaccination.
