The National Archives reports that Pelosi said “of course” the Democratic House could overturn the election results, allowing Democrats to win months after losing the election.
Pelosi said, “Yes, that could happen, yes.”
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said “of course” the Democratic-controlled House could overturn the election results after Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks defeated Democrat Rita Hart in Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District.
Pelosi said, “I respect the work of the committee. I do see, as you see in the media, that, uh, they ….. The decision to, uh… and… and they are following my, as I’ve read, the requirements of the law on how you move forward and what the path is for you to move forward, uh, and we’ll see where that takes us. Yes, that may come up, yes.”
This follows a National Archives report that the U.S. House of Representatives will consider overturning the Iowa election results, led by Clinton ally attorney Marc Elias (D-N.Y.).
“The House Administration Committee gathered on Friday afternoon to finalize the process by which it will rule on Hart’s claim, which was filed under TheFederal Contested Elections Act,” Politico reported on its website. The commission has been largely silent since Hart first raised the controversy in December, but the hearings suggest it is preparing to review the matter further.”
Democrats, particularly in the Pelosi-dominated House, have repeatedly denied that there was voter fraud in the 2020 election. However, their majority in the House has shrunk to just five members due to President Trump‘s effective campaign. That margin would increase to six if they overturn the election results and allow Hart to capture the seat of his Republican opponent.
Republicans and Trump voters have been highly concerned about election integrity after credible evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. Democrats, Biden voters and mainstream media outlets, and left-wing organizations (many of whom would argue that they have a long history of and deliberately encourage voter fraud) have strongly denied these allegations, calling it “the big lie” that President Trump is “subverting democracy.”
In some cases, many left-wing figures and institutions have hijacked the term “voter suppression” to push back against any reasonable measures being taken to secure U.S. elections, often blaming it on “racism. For example, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) claims that “more than 30 states have considered laws requiring voters to show a government-issued photo ID in order to vote. 11 percent of U.S. citizens do not have such an ID and would need to either administratively obtain one or give up their right to vote altogether.” In other words, they think it’s racist to ensure that voting is done by eligible voters who don’t think you can afford to solve the “administrative burden” of a trip to the DMV.
The left’s push to seemingly enable voter fraud has Americans questioning their motives. Ironically, the Iowa Democrat blamed his defeat on fraud. House Democrats seem to share her sentiment and are ready to take Rep. Miller-Meeks’ seat away and give it to their candidate, increasing their House majority from five to six.
If addressing allegations of voter fraud is widespread enough to change the outcome of an election considered the safest in U.S. history and, as the left says, a subversion of democracy, then it appears that House Democrats are about to do just that.
