On March 10, the CPPCC meeting closed and the Standing Committee of the Communist Party’s Politburo continued to make appearances and put on a show. on September 21, 1949, the first so-called Political Consultative Conference, manipulated by the Communist Party, was held in Beiping and claimed that it was not yet in a position to convene a national people’s congress elected by universal suffrage and that the CPPCC meeting would act as the national people’s congress.
After the violent seizure of power, the CCP, knowing that it would be difficult to be recognized by all social strata and the international community, made a fuss about a political consultative conference in an attempt to give the CCP’s dictatorial regime a veneer of legitimacy. 71 years later, the CCP claims to be “four confident”, but in reality it is not confident at all, and still needs to use the two conferences as a facade, not daring to directly put the CCP’s This shows that the CCP has been worried about the legitimacy of its rule since the very beginning.
Xi Jinping said at the two sessions that he could “look at the world with a level head”. This statement in itself is full of inferiority complex. Did the Chinese Communist Party officials not dare to “look at the world from a level perspective” before?
As Chinese people or the Chinese people as a whole, they have always been able to look at the world equally, interacting, cooperating and respecting each other as equals with people of all countries and nationalities, so why do they start to “look at the world equally” only now? China’s 5,000-year history is so glorious that it can look at the world on an even keel. Xi Jinping’s words actually represent the words of the Chinese Communist Party regime, which is now claiming to “see the world on an equal footing,” showing that the Chinese Communist Party has always felt inferior to the regime sustained by violence and lies.
The CCP’s Party Congress does not dare to show itself to the public, but can only pretend to be the Chinese government by packaging it in the annual two sessions. The General Secretary of the CCP can only call himself the President of the country before he can go out to meet people. The CCP regime has never been able to “look at the world”, and the CCP regime has been demonstrating its inferiority to the world through the two annual meetings.
When the first CPPCC meeting was held in 1949, the CCP did not dare to use the Party’s organizational structure to govern, but could only hide behind the so-called “united front regime”, that is, the United Front. 71 years have passed, but the CCP still does not dare to remove this veneer, yet it presumes to talk about “looking at the world”. “This is not a laughing matter.
In September 1954, the CPC manipulated and convened the First National People’s Congress, which has not been elected so far, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC is occupying the position of Chairman of the National People’s Congress in a grand manner. The so-called “Constitution” is the “Constitution” of the CCP, and one-party dictatorship is written into the “Constitution. The CPPCC, even nominally, has long since lost its authority as a surrogate legislature and has become the CCP’s united front organization, also often under the exclusive control of a member of the Politburo Standing Committee, while also managing the CCP’s United Front Department.
The so-called CPPCC Conference, which is no longer given any nominal power at all, is neither a state body nor a legislature, but at most an advisory body that consumes a lot of finances. The CCP still manipulates the CPPCC meetings to be held every year to show that the CCP is not a dictatorial party but a multi-party regime. The top echelons of the CCP even pretend to listen to opinions, and the CPPCC delegates continue to cooperate with the CCP in singing a double act, while the CCP always hides behind the scenes.
Although the CCP claims that the CPPCC is a multi-party regime, it never claims that the Communist Party is the majority party and directly enforces one-party dictatorship. However, officials of the CCP system cannot be recognized by governments, and party officials can only put up government titles to interact with governments, and often dare not fill in their party membership status when applying for visas. The Chinese people have always been able to “see the world”, but the CCP secretaries, big and small, are unable to “see the world”, or rather, they have never been “seen” by the world. How can the CCP regime and CCP officials not have an inferiority complex? The more lively the two sessions are, the better, or they can be used to barely cover their shame.
The CPPCC meeting, which closed on March 10, claimed to have passed a series of so-called resolutions, including one endorsing and supporting the NPC’s decision on Hong Kong‘s electoral system. The CPPCC’s resolutions do not even have nominal legal effect and can only be attached to the NPC’s resolutions. It is a travesty that the unelected and illegal two meetings claim to decide on Hong Kong’s electoral system. Wang Yang also said, “As an important platform to unite and educate and guide representatives of all ethnic groups and sectors with the Party’s innovative theories, the CPPCC must strengthen its ideological and political leadership.” It can be seen that the CPPCC is a typical appendage of the CPC, and the NPC is no different.
Xinhua News Agency also published an article for this purpose, “Through the two sessions, the world reads the new situation of China’s development”, saying that “the two sessions attracted the world’s attention”. There was nothing really new to discuss at the two sessions, which were all set in October 2020 at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, which was held behind closed doors, but the CPC media did not claim to have “caught the world’s eye. The CCP’s Party Congress, Plenum, Politburo, Politburo Standing Committee, and General Secretary are likewise not elected by genuine internal party elections.
Xi Jinping says he can “look at the world”, but the CCP regime simply cannot “look at the world” because the governments of the world do not “look at” the CCP as a party organization. The world knows that the Chinese Communist regime has been using the two sessions to decorate the legitimacy of its rule, so who really cares about a farce? Who really cares about a farce? More often than not, what the media wants to discover is who said something out of the ordinary? Or what secrets have been inadvertently leaked from the CCP’s reports, or where they contradict themselves.
In the eyes of the world, the two sessions are just the biggest joke in the CCP’s constant display of inferiority.
