Biden’s 50 days in office without a press conference broke a 100-year record

Wednesday, March 10 marked Biden‘s 50th day in office, but he has yet to hold a single press conference, longer than the Time before the previous two presidents held them combined, raising questions from critics about the Biden Administration‘s claim to be transparent.

“Instead of taking direct questions and addressing the American people directly, Biden is hiding in his basement waiting for instructions from his liberal handlers.” The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) said in a statement that it had asked Biden’s “liberal staff” why he was so “afraid” to meet with the people, and also provided brief statistics on how long Biden had gone without holding a formal press conference.

According to the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Biden has taken longer to hold his first press conference than the two previous presidents combined, and longer than eight of the last 15 presidents combined. Biden is the first president in at least 100 years to go 49 days in office without a press conference. If Biden’s handlers let him speak to a joint session of Congress, it would be the latest joint session speech in decades.
