Communist Party lover, House Trump impeachment manager Eric Swalwell (D-Mass.) confirmed Friday that he sued President Trump, Trump’s eldest son, Giuliani’s attorney and Republican Rep. Brooke. It is the second major lawsuit seeking to hold Trump and his allies accountable for the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Last month, Democratic Rep. Thompson filed a similar lawsuit against Trump, Giuliani and the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys groups.
Swalwell tweeted Friday, “Today, I filed a civil claim against Trump, Trump Jr, Giuliani and Rep. Brooke for inciting an attack on the Capitol, intimidating lawmakers and preventing us from certifying the votes of the American people.” But the tweet can no longer be found on Twitter.
The lawsuit filed by Swalwell is similar to Rep. Thompson’s claim, citing civil rights laws that fight intimidation of elected officials by the KKK.
The lawsuit, filed by the law firm of KaiserDillon PLLC in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., accuses Trump and his allies of conspiring to violate the defendants’ civil rights, according to left-wing outlet Axios.
The suit alleges that “the attack on the Capitol by a violent mob was a direct and foreseeable consequence of Defendants’ false and inflammatory allegations of fraud and theft, and a direct response to Defendants’ explicit calls for violence at the rally.”
According to Swalwell, the defendants “agreed and conspired with each other, by force, intimidation or threat, to take a series of actions to prevent Biden from being certified as the winner of the election and from holding office.”
Trump and Brooks are being sued in their “individual capacities. The lawsuit seeks unspecified monetary damages and requires the defendants to provide seven days’ written notice of any Election Day rally or public event.
CNN reports that Swalwell’s lawsuit and Thompson’s case are likely to go hand-in-hand in a federal trial court in Washington, D.C., and may even be heard by Judge Amit Mehta, an Obama appointee.
Swalwell was one of nine House impeachment managers who impeached Trump, saying he instigated the Capitol violence. However, the Senate voted to acquit Trump of the charges.
According to Breitbart News, Swalwell previously said that Trump “radicalized” his supporters, much like the late terrorist leader Osama bin Laden did.

The Democrats always find excuses for their left-wingers that just sound ridiculous, and when a protest by Democrat punks turns violent, it counts for nothing, and if right-wingers demonstrate, it’s boiling over and going too far. Just look at how the Democrats made a different judgment in the Capitol riots, finding out the culpability and targets in order to punish. I would say to them: storming the Capitol was nothing more than a political demonstration that boiled over a bit and led to the building being breached, and most Trump supporters were indeed peaceful. The double standard of the Democrats on both sides of the aisle is blatantly obvious!
