Before that, at 1:41 a.m. Beijing time on the 5th, an earthquake with a size of 7.4 on the Richter scale and a depth of 55.6 kilometers occurred in the Kermadec Islands; at 9:27 p.m. Taiwan time on the 4th, an earthquake with a size of 7.3 on the Richter scale and a depth of 20.8 kilometers occurred off New Zealand’s North Island.
