In the wake of the deadly fire, Romania will check the country’s intensive care units.

The Romanian government said on 15 May that it would do inspections of the country’s intensive care units from 16 May to prevent another fire and other accidents.

Romanian officials said the inspections will be carried out jointly by public health and emergency services.
