Market expects OPEC+ to increase production WTI crude oil falls below $60

International oil prices fell today after the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and a coalition of oil-producing countries, including Russia (OPEC+), were reported to be likely to reach a deal to increase production later this week.

West Texas Intermediate crude for April delivery sank 89 cents to $59.75 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

London North Sea Brent crude for May delivery fell 99 cents to $62.70 a barrel.
