Golden Globes ratings fell 60% Nearly 100 million watched Trump’s speech

Former President Trump speaks at the CPAC convention on Feb. 28, 2021.

It was a tough night for the left in Hollywood. Ratings for the Golden Globes were down 60 percent from last year. One report showed that only 5.4 million viewers tuned in to watch the leftist event. And more than 9.374 million people watched Trump’s (Trump) February 28 speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on major media on the Oil Tube (You Tube).

According to the viewing record on the oil tube, the viewing figures for Trump’s speech were as follows (as of 10 a.m. GMT on March 2)

Decent Radio Network (RSBN) 3.8 million

Reuters 948,000

ABC News 372,000

The Hill 926,000

Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) 372,000

The Independent 1.2 million

The Sun 647,000

FOX35: 60,000

SKY News 226,000

News Now 823,000

The above channels were not the only ones that showed Trump’s speech, but there were several other YouTube and Rumble channels that showed Trump’s speech in full.

The Gateway Pundit said Trump still drew the largest number of people to his event in history. But those pesky leftists weren’t so lucky.

The Daily Caller reports that NBC’s popular awards show peaked on the night of Feb. 28 with an average of 6,057,000 viewers, according to ShowBuzzDaily.com.

To put into perspective how bad NBC’s Golden Globes ratings were, by comparison, “60 Minutes,” “The Rookie Cop” and “American Idol” all had higher ratings than the Golden Globes in early numbers.

So it wasn’t just a bad night, says The Daily Wire. It was an absolute wreck for the Golden Globes.

In all seriousness, this is just the latest example of people’s disdain for awards shows. There are college football games that regularly get higher ratings than the Golden Globes on Sunday night. People just don’t want to watch those anymore.
