Ms. Xu Cuiqin of Xinjiang has been illegally detained at the local education and training conversion center for 677 days between July 13, 2017 and May 7, 2019, without any legal formalities or basis to date, for suing Jiao Xinguo, secretary of the Fukang City Education Bureau and former secretary of the Bofeng Street Office.

The reporter interviewed Ms. Xu Cuiqin, who told the reporter about the persecution she and her father, who graduated from the Whampoa Military Academy, suffered from the Chinese Communist Party for two generations.

Her father defected to the CCP and was persecuted by them

Xu Cuiqin, 56, lives in Fukang, Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Xu Cuiqin said, “His father, Xu Dexi, who was a second lieutenant platoon leader of the 3rd Battalion, 9th Company, 3rd Battalion, 365th Division of the Kuomintang Army, joined the Guanghan Uprising in Sichuan Province in November 1949 and defected to the Chinese Communist Party, and was detained and monitored by the local police in 1950 when he returned Home from the army to visit his Family because of his family’s status as a landlord.”

On December 3, 1951, Xu Dexi was charged with theft (theft of auto parts); on February 25, 1955, he was charged with trafficking and smoking cigarettes and sentenced to two years in prison, plus two years in prison. “, acquitted Xu De Xi.

According to Xu Cuiqin revealed that this is not the case, “father in 1951 was sent to Rema Ping reeducation through labor for no reason, not because of the Xuyong County Court verdict, but the Xuyong County Public Security Bureau abuse of power, chaotic action. Our family has repeatedly applied to the Xuyong County Court for access to evidence related to our father’s sentencing, but has been denied. The Xuyong County Public Security Bureau did not provide evidence of any of my father’s crimes.”

“My father was a retired employee of the 127th regiment of the 7th agricultural division in Xinjiang before he left. After his defection, he was instead charged with trumped-up crimes and lived with the crime of theft and trafficking in smoked cigarettes. I have been complaining to have all charges against my father dropped.” Xu Dexi died on March 20, 2000, after a long illness, and his charges were not dropped until he passed away.

On October 22, 1991, the Xuyong County Court issued a “Criminal Verdict” reversing both verdicts and acquitting Xu De Xi of the charges. (provided by the interviewee)

Daughter’s unsuccessful attempt to redress her father’s grievances was unlawfully detained by the Chinese Communist Party

Xu Cuiqin, who sued Jiao Xinguo, former secretary of the Bofeng Street Office, to seek redress for her father’s grievances, was lured to the Fukang City police station on July 13, 2017 by a Fukang City Bofeng Street community worker surnamed Sun, police officer Wang Yong, and Bofeng Street public security instructor Alimu, and transferred to the Fukang City Vocational Skills Education and Training Conversion Center on July 18. Xu Cuiqin said, “I was secretly detained for 677 days without any legal documents, formalities or criminal facts.”

“As a result of my application to the state public authorities for the correction of my father’s wrongful case, Jiao Xinguo retaliated against my legal petition and illegally detained (me). I was detained in an education and training conversion center limited to holding so-called ‘violent, religious extremist lawbreakers.’ I asked them to produce the legal documents for my detention, and they have not given them to me so far.”

“For 677 days, I was detained in three separate conversion centers – Lukun Lake Coal Mine in Fukang City, Grassland Station Education and Training Conversion Center and Fukang People’s Hospital Vocational Skills Education and Training Conversion Center.” She said, “In the conversion center, they gave me Medicine twice a day, white pills. After taking the pills, I sometimes can’t even remember my family, I can’t even remember my husband’s phone number. They also draw our blood often, sometimes every other week, sometimes once every half month.”

“In the conversion center, it’s worse than prison. In prison there is still Time to let off steam, but in the conversion center you can’t go out to let off steam, they are afraid that people will see. Every day we have to study the (brainwashing) materials they give us, memorize the ‘listen to the party, follow the party, do not create rumors, do not spread rumors’ things that are made up. Many people went in with good health and went out with bad health, and many people died inside.” Xu Cuiqin said.

“Later, a lot of people were locked up with me. There are Uighurs, Hui, Kazakhs, I am a Han Chinese, I can still help them. One day a man was locked in, his two dolls were still outside, and in the middle of the night he went crazy with anxiety, and they gave him three shots before he quieted down. It’s tragic, some Parents are locked up inside, and the dolls are wandering outside. I know those who are locked up inside are not terrorists, they are farmers, business people.”

Xu Cuiqin concluded by saying that she would still continue to complain and would not give up.
