Meteorologists are predicting a “quiet” week for most of the United States. The exceptions are the Southeast, South Central, Tennessee and parts of the Ohio River Valley. These areas will be the focus of showers and thunderstorms.
The aforementioned areas that receive rainfall may experience flash flooding due to ground water and and inability to drain.
Fox Senior Meteorologist Janice Dean predicts that light snow and/or freezing rain is possible in the Appalachians Tuesday night (March 2) through Wednesday.

Temperatures in the North Central and Central Plains will be above average tomorrow, peaking in the 50s to 60s F during the day.
Temperatures are also expected to be above average along the East Coast before becoming cooler tomorrow.
