China’s “anal test” led to a multi-national backlash South Korean people will sample themselves after consultations with China and South Korea

The Chinese have adopted the “anal swab” test for Wuhan pneumonia (new coronavirus disease, COVID-19), which has caused discussion and disgust from all walks of Life. The company’s spokesman, Cui Yongsan, said yesterday that Chinese quarantine personnel stopped taking anal swab tests directly on South Korean people entering China, and that South Koreans would take samples first and then submit them.

According to “Yonhap News Agency”, Choi said that from the beginning of this year, South Korean people entering China, will adopt their own collection and submission of stool specimens, rather than by the Chinese quarantine personnel in person samples. It is reported that the Chinese anal swab testing has caused dissatisfaction among many Korean expatriates, and this is a compromise after discussion between the two countries.

The report points out that The Japanese government has asked China to exempt Japanese people from receiving anal swab testing.
