Trump slams Biden: Refugee admissions soar nearly 10-fold, soon to be hundreds

The Breitbart News reports that Trump has blasted Joe Biden for opening the United States to countless refugees while keeping Americans on lockdown.

President Donald Trump said Sunday that Joe Biden is opening the United States to thousands of refugees from around the world while keeping U.S. citizens on lockdown during the coronavirus (Chinese Communist virus) crisis in China.

In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Trump said Biden would increase refugee resettlement by nearly 960% in the next fiscal year while millions of Americans remain under a social and economic blockade order.

Trump said, “[Biden] has already increased refugee admissions nearly tenfold, but in reality, it will soon increase hundreds of times as millions pour through our soon-to-be-open borders.”

“Your families still can’t go out and eat at your local restaurant, but Joe Biden is bringing in thousands of refugees from all over the world – and people don’t know anything about them.” Trump continued.” We don’t have (their) criminal records, we don’t have their health records, (and) I wonder what they’re bringing in?”

Trump also slammed Biden for restarting immigration to the U.S. from countries that export terrorism, one of the first executive orders he signed last month.

Trump said, “In the first few hours, Biden lifted our security travel ban on countries plagued by terrorism. His top priority is to open our borders to unvetted travelers from Libya, Yemen, Syria, Somalia and many other countries where strict vetting is not possible …… There is a huge terrorism problem in those countries.”

As part of Biden’s refugee resettlement surge, Biden ended state and local say on whether to resettle refugees in their communities and towns.

Trump, as president, had signed an order giving states and localities veto power over refugee resettlement. But Biden rescinded that order – returning to the policy of a handful of refugee contractors choosing where to resettle refugees without regard to the wishes of local communities.
