A gold statue of President Donald Trump recently appeared at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Florida.
Bloomberg News reporter William Turton shared video footage of the statue on Twitter Thursday evening, showing two men pushing the statue through the building, according to the Independent Journal Review.
The golden statue shows Trump appearing to be wearing a suit jacket, tie, American flag shorts and red flip-flops.
As the statue passes by, one man says, “That’s great!” Another said, “This is so cool,” while others chanted, “Four more years.
According to Breitbart News, Trump is scheduled to speak at the conference on Sunday, his first major public appearance since leaving the White House.
President Trump has remained largely silent since moving to Florida with his Family and, following the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol, has been unable to use social media to communicate with supporters after Twitter permanently banned him from using its App and Facebook similarly suspended him indefinitely.
Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said on Fox News Thursday that he would support Trump as the Republican nominee for president in 2024.
Anchor Bret Baier (Bret Baier) asked, “If the president were the party’s nominee, would you support him?” .
“The party’s nominee? Absolutely.” McConnell replied.
In a recent interview with Breitbart News, Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman Jim Banks (Jim Banks) said he plans to help flesh out the Trump agenda and use it to push the Republican Party further in the right direction.
He explained, “For too long, the Republican Party has not been the party of working people. President Trump has made us the party of the working class. If we don’t adjust our Republican agenda to acknowledge that, I don’t think we’re going to win elections in 2022 and 2024,”.
