Gun-Wielding Congresswoman Calls for Opposition to Democrats’ Equality Act

U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor, who is known for her insistence on carrying a gun in the U.S. House of Representatives, said that she would like to see the U.S. Congresswoman’s gun in the House. Marjorie Taylor Greene Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Texas), a member of the U.S. House of Representatives known for her insistence on gun ownership.

The Biden administration’s attempt to pass the Equality Act in Congress has been strongly challenged by conservatives who believe that the Democrats’ so-called “Equality Act” would lead to the most sweeping attack on religious freedom. The prominent Republican gun-toting congresswoman in Congress has called loudly for all members of Congress to oppose the bill.

On Wednesday (Feb. 24), Rep. Marjorie Taylor, a Republican freshman from Georgia who is known for her gun ownership and carry, called on all members of Congress to oppose the bill. Marjorie Taylor Green Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) tweeted her opposition to the Democratic Equality Act and called on lawmakers who support the bill to reconsider their position.

If the House passes the Democratic Equality Act this week, the legal definition of gender will be changed to include both sexual orientation and gender identity. The bill would also expand government regulation of transgender protections, such as requiring health care providers to offer hormone therapy and surgery related to sex reassignment surgery regardless of the beliefs of health care workers.

To the absurdity of conservatives, the bill would allow men who identify themselves as women to use the women’s restroom and male athletes who identify themselves as women to participate in women’s athletic competition.

Tyler Greene In a Feb. 24 tweet, Rep. Greene said she asked for a recess during the congressional debate on the Equality Act because she thought Congress should pause and think about how the so-called Equality Act would destroy the rights of women and girls, the rights of women in competitive sports, and the rights of religious believers.

Republican lawmakers like Greene stressed that the bill could take away the freedoms of ordinary Americans, especially religious freedoms, not to mention impede women’s rights.

In another tweet, Rep. Greene said, “The so-called Equality Act completely destroys women’s rights, girls’ rights, women’s athletic programs and religious freedom. I hope every one of my colleagues puts aside their political differences and realizes that implementing the Equality Act is the wrong approach …… The Equality Act is completely unconstitutional.”

Catholic League President Bill Donohue In a recent interview, Bill Donohue noted how two transgender “women” from Connecticut easily placed first and second in the women’s track and field competition.

In addition, Donohue criticized the Equality Act for ending Catholic adoption agencies. Catholic adoption agencies generally do not give children to a gay or lesbian Family, or to a family with a transgender child, but under the new bill, this practice would be illegal.

Also, Catholic hospitals currently have the right to refuse to perform abortions on the basis of religion, but the Equality Act would remove their religious exemption.

Donohue warned that if the Equality Act is passed, almost all religious institutions “will be expected to comply with this radical legislation. He also said sarcastically that it is difficult for the public to understand the two self-proclaimed “devout Catholics” (President Joe) Biden and (Speaker of the House) Biden. Biden and Nancy Pelosi, who claim to be “devout Catholics,” are hard for the public to understand. Pelosi would embrace such a blatantly anti-Catholic ordinance that undermines so many religious freedoms.
