Twenty-four young Chinese men were accused of leaking the identity of Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping’s daughter, Xi Mingze, through “Chinawiki,” and all were later arrested by authorities. It is rumored that after the news broke, officers from the disciplinary committee of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department were sent to search the detention center.
Twenty-four young Chinese men were sentenced to 14 years by a Maonan District Court in Maoming City, Guangdong Province, last month for allegedly leaking personal information about Xi Jinping’s daughter Xi Mingze and Xi Jinping’s brother-in-law Deng Jiagui; Niu Tengyu, 20, was accused of being the mastermind and was sentenced to 14 years, and is widely believed to have been framed.
The case is being held in custody earlier this month, and Niu Tengyu even revealed that he had been asked to carry out “inhumane torture” by Yang Guangyao, the head of the Maonan network police, and other case officers, such as wrapping handcuffs with cotton and gauze, and hanging him in handcuffs and beating him to force him to confess guilt, and was forced to confess guilt.
Recently, an informed source revealed that after Niu Tengyu’s statement that he had been tortured, the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department sent people to the detention center to investigate, pointing out that these people are the disciplinary committee of the Public Security Department.
The source said that the officers entered the detention center and confiscated cell phones, looking for clues about Niu Tengyu’s statement, making the atmosphere inside the detention center very tense; in addition, the discipline committee officers even searched the dormitory where the young man was held and searched all the letters written by the young man.
The Family of the young man complained that such behavior is to deprive the young man of his legal rights, and this is a cover-up, “the Public Security Department can not cover up its evil deeds”.
