A 23-year-old woman in Changsha, Hunan Province, used the Cargo Lala App to find moving services, and was not expected to be on her way to her new Home, only six minutes into the drive, the woman suddenly jumped out the window from the passenger seat, and later died after a rescue attempt. The company’s Family and friends questioned how to suddenly jump out of the window for a good reason. And the truck is suspected to have deviated from the course three times, asking the truck driver, cargo Lara to give an account. At present, the truck driver has been released after three days of detention, “no one came to visit”, the police are still investigating.
The victim woman Xiaosha placed an order for moving services through Cargo Lala in early February, and Xiaosha’s uncle said that at 9:14 pm on the night of the move, Xiaosha was still chatting with her family, saying that her luggage was loaded, and 10 minutes later was still chatting with her colleagues about the content of her work, and at 9:30 pm the driver called the police, “jumped out of the window at Qu Yuan Road, 110 rushed to the scene, there was a pool of blood on the ground, and my niece was unconscious, 110 took the child to the hospital”.
The family asked to see if there was any audio and video data on the car or the cargo app to restore the truth, but the cargo staff said there was no audio and video equipment in the car, and the cargo app did not have audio and video functions.
Xiaosha’s brother said in an online post that the truck driver’s statement said that Xiaosha chose to jump out of the window because of three yawns. He questioned why he did not choose the normal navigation route and the route required by the platform, but chose a road with no monitoring near and far? Was it premeditated? Did Cargo have a relevant safety audit for the driver?
He said he did not believe that Xiaosha would jump out of the window because of yawning, “six minutes ago also used the same status as before to send messages in the work group, six minutes later suddenly jumped out of the window, this short six minutes in the end what has happened? What is even more incredible is that the driver’s statement says you are ‘jumping out of the window by yourself’, why jumping out of the window is the back of the head first to the ground?”
He also questioned the lack of any audio and video recording equipment in the car: “As the online taxi platform party, doesn’t Cargo Lala have any monitoring measures to ensure the safety of passengers?”
In response to the case, police said the investigation is still ongoing and has not yet formed a qualitative conclusion.
