He endorses Trump? Rep. Gates met with Trump and revealed a shocking story

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said Sunday evening that he spent several hours with President Trump on Saturday, and that President Trump was focused, combative, and exactly like his dedication and patriotism when he was president of the United States, and that Trump definitely spoke with the air of a candidate.

Rep. Gates spoke about the current situation, saying that there are not many Republican members of the federal House and Senate who represent the America First policy, a philosophy shared by the vast majority of Republican voters. Instead, there is an overwhelming majority of Republican establishment lawmakers who represent a policy of waging war, destroying borders, and undermining American industry, which is the Democratic Party’s agenda.

Rep. Gates said, “The Republican Party is not fully united. Who wants to go back to endless wars? Who wants to go back to bad foreign trade? Who wants a caravan of immigrants crashing America’s borders? The answer is, establishment Republicans, and they’re outnumbered in Washington, D.C.”

Rep. Gaetz explained, “Nationally, Republican voters are united around the policy philosophy of America First. But Liz Cheney Jr. (R-Texas), the speaker of the House Republican Caucus, and your next guest, Nancy Mace (D-Calif.), people who don’t represent the views of Republican voters, are filling the federal House and Senate. The number of members of Congress who represent America First’s policy ideas is small, but it is they who represent a broad spectrum of Republican voters.”

Gates added, “This is not a personal criticism of these members of Congress, it does show that there is an America First pro-Trump wing of the Republican Party and there is a Republican establishment wing of the Republican Party.”

Rep. Gates strongly believes that “Republican lawmakers must carry out the America First philosophy that Republican voters support to be worthy of having a 2022 victory. We really should oppose the agenda being pushed by the Biden administration, and as I say this, U.S. troops are going into Syria and there are pro-conflict warmongers in both our House and Senate, and Cheney Jr. is representative of such figures. It’s amazing that Republican legislators support more war, it’s amazing that they support illegal immigrants breaking into the United States, it’s amazing that they support industrial policies that hollow out America to benefit Fortune 500 companies. Yet these ideas have very little support among Republican voters, so many Republican lawmakers currently actually represent a minority of a minority.”

Rep. Gates concluded by adding, “By the way, if we don’t have beautiful environmental policies to win over green voters, if we don’t provide market-based green solutions, if we don’t cut corners to help a wide range of voters, then Democrats have a much better chance of winning in the long run.”
