Trump is now seeking donors for a new social media platform, according to a new report.

According to the Washington Examiner.

Former President Donald Trump has told friends he has secured hundreds of millions of dollars to back a new social media venture that will provide him with an online presence and protect conservatives from being shut down online.

Two sources with inside knowledge said the investors, who include Silicon Valley figures, are motivated by concerns about censorship and a “Culture of cancellation” online.

Trump began a new phase of his administration when details surfaced in a television interview with his base in Florida a week after his acquittal in the Senate impeachment.

Trump has yet to join any alternative social media platforms since Big Tech banned him.

In his first interview since leaving office, he addressed this issue as well.

In that interview, he also said he didn’t want to go back to Twitter.

The Gateway Pundit says Trump could really hurt Big Tech if he ends up going down this path.

Twitter announced a $1.14 billion loss for 2020.

The report concludes by saying that big tech companies are in trouble.
