“Governor Gavin Newsom’s (R) situation is getting worse! Thousands of people are mailing signed (recall) petitions. It’s the largest petition drive the country has ever seen!” On February 17, Recall Gavin 2020 campaign officials announced that close to 1.7 million signatures had been collected statewide.

The “Recall Newsom” campaign in California is now counting down to March 17, when 1,495,709 valid signatures will be collected in order to start the recall referendum process.
According to current figures, the number of signatures collected by the private sector has far exceeded that threshold, but Orrin Heatlie, chairman of the “Recall Newsom” committee and chief promoter, said the collection of signatures must not stop there.
Over the past few days, thousands of volunteers have taken to the streets to help collect thousands of additional signatures to ensure that the campaign to remove Governor Newsom is launched and the people’s voices are heard loud and clear,” he said. However, our work on this campaign is not yet complete.”
The recall campaign has generated such a large response, and many California voters who signed the recall petition say it is because they are extremely unhappy with Newsom’s policies on city closures, Epidemic prevention, taxation and other issues.
