Fox Virtual Channel 5 (FOX5) reported Friday (Feb. 19) that a Capitol Police officer was seen wearing a MAGA hat on Jan. 6 and asked two men around him if they could help him get through the crowd to help other officers inside the Capitol. The officer handed a megaphone to one of the men and added, “I’ll follow you.”
The video was shot by tube-blogger Rico La Starza, who said he was visiting Washington and went to the Capitol and saw what was happening and he started filming ……
At least two of the alleged rioters told the FBI that a Capitol police officer told them, “This is your Congress now.”
A Capitol police officer was spotted taking selfies with Capitol stormers, and Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, told reporters that the officer had been suspended in January of this year.
