Chinese farmers “lifted out of poverty” experts: the future fear of more poverty

Many of China’s poor are farmers, and the problem has remained unsolved for a long Time. The Communist Party of China (CPC) has recently established a new “National rural Revitalization Bureau”, mentioning that China has completely eradicated poverty, and that the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development will be replaced by the new Rural Revitalization Bureau. According to expert analysis, this kind of “poverty eradication” in the form of slogans will only make Chinese farmers and poor households even poorer and more miserable in the future.

In an article titled “A Great Miracle in the History of Human Poverty Reduction” published in the CCP’s party magazine “Seeking Truth” on the 16th, it was signed as “Party Group of the CPC National Rural Revitalization Bureau”, which means that the “National Rural Revitalization Bureau” has been officially established.

The record of poor households has been erased and any assistance will be cut off

“How is it possible that there are no poor households in China?” In an interview with Epoch Times, China expert and Taiwan think-tank consultant Dong Liwen mentioned that the Chinese Communist Party‘s poverty eradication program is known worldwide as a fake. The rural revitalization program has yet to see a concrete plan, and slogans alone cannot solve the problems of the three rural areas (farmers, rural areas and agriculture).

He mentioned that according to the experience of countries around the world, as long as there are poor households, there will be relevant assistance and subsidies, but now in the official records of the Chinese Communist Party, there are no longer any poor households in China, and the Chinese Communist Party’s claim of comprehensive poverty eradication “means that poor households in China cannot be taken care of in any way in the future.”

There are many international charitable organizations that regularly travel around the world to provide aid. Dong Liwen said that from the standpoint of the official Chinese Communist Party believes, “We don’t even have an official record, so what are you doing here?” Therefore, the poor and destitute in China will only become more miserable because these poor households do not exist in the official records. Not only are they not taken care of in China, but even international opportunities for assistance are blocked.

Delay in solving the three rural problems

According to Dong Liwen, the “three rural problems” are historical problems of the Chinese Communist Party. In the past 20 years, the first “No. 1 Document” issued by the CPC Central Committee during the era of former CPC leaders Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao was all about the three rural issues, because there are 800 million farmers in China, so the rural issue is the most fundamental problem in China, but also the most difficult to solve.

He said that the “three rural issues” are old problems that have been slow to be solved, mainly related to China’s social problems, industrial structure, and the current political system.

In early 2000, Li Changping, secretary of the Party Committee of Qipan Township in Jili County, Hubei Province, wrote to then Premier Zhu Rongji, summarizing the three rural problems as “farmers are really suffering, the countryside is really poor, and agriculture is really dangerous,” which sparked widespread discussion in the society.

Funds invested in science and technology industry to marginalize agriculture

Dong Liwen said that the Chinese Communist Party has diverted most of its funds to the technology industry, threatening to develop the 5G and 6G industries, as well as the semiconductor industry, and spending a lot of money in this field, which has led to the crowding out of other industries and projects. At present, it seems that the CCP does not consider agriculture as a key investment project and under-invests in it, which is one of the main reasons.

Whenever there is an economic budget for the farmers and rural areas, it is withheld by the bureaucrats in the middle, leaving few farmers at the bottom, the vulnerable grassroots.

Moreover, there is no political achievement for CCP officials to improve farmers’ problems, and the most important thing to look at is GDP and the effectiveness of environmental industries. To implement environmentally friendly agriculture, the cost is very high, the Chinese Communist Party has not invested in the relevant funds, there is no relevant market development, coupled with the government and farmers to compete for land, forced demolition of houses and other disputes occur more frequently, making farmers even more no place to stand.

He said, especially China’s Food crisis has surfaced, last year, the Chinese government even ordered that Chinese farmers are not allowed to plant high-economy crops, only grain, adding to the economic problems of poor farmers. Therefore, under such a harsh environment, the average Chinese farmer can only continue to suffer, without any way out.
