She herself has been threatened with death because of her son’s injustice. She appealed to the media to help her!
On February 16, Niu Tengyu’s mother told Voice of Hope that she believes her son is the “scapegoat” among the “scapegoats” accused by the Guangdong Maoming Public Security Bureau of being the “main culprit”.
She said, “Two days ago they (public security) someone told me, they are also ready to exterminate me, ‘his mother interviewed by the foreign media, to exterminate her, not to let her talk.'” She said she was pushed into a desperate situation and was ready to go out on a limb.
Niu’s mother said, “You’ve wronged me like this, and I still can’t seek justice? I want people to interview me. My son was sentenced to 14 years, the entire youth will be destroyed, I am now blind, I do not know if I can still see my son, but also to fine our Family money, I can not get out, how long do you think I can live? I am still afraid that you will destroy me?”
Niu mother said that after learning that the child was sentenced, she fainted at once and woke up, she could barely see anything. In a trance, she accidentally broke her leg and damaged the meniscus of her right leg, making it impossible to go out and earn money. The illness, coupled with the mental shock, has left her very weak, but she now doesn’t even have the money to see a doctor. The authorities also want to fine 130,000.
She said, “I can’t even live anymore, I’m getting depressed, I really hope people can save me and my children. I can’t live anymore, they have labeled my child as a political prisoner so much that many people are turning away from me, they think I am the mother of a political prisoner, and I am so depressed that I don’t even have anyone to talk to.”
24 young people become scapegoats
Xiao Yanrui, founder of the “Vicious Wiki,” said recently that the leak of Xi Jinping and his daughter’s household registration information was organized by the Communist Party’s public security officials, who were paid 6,000 yuan at the end of 2018 to investigate the case, and that many public security officials were involved. It has nothing to do with Niu Tengyu and 24 other young people.
Xiao Yanrui said, the mainland public security can not catch overseas participants, but also afraid that they leak Xi Jinping’s family’s personal information was exposed, so the arrest of the “vulgar Wiki” website 24 members as scapegoats.
In 2019, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security set up a special “1902136” task force after someone reported that the personal information of Xi Jinping’s family had been leaked. The police also arrested the 20-year-old computer genius Niu Tengyu, who was falsely accused of being the mastermind of the crime and was beaten, deprived of sleep, forced to write hundreds of thousands of confessions, and then had his right arm mangled.
Niu Tengyu’s grandmother and father passed away in shock
The mother said that Niu Teng Yu was arrested in August 2019, once disappeared, the public security deprived the family of all the right to know, they thought Niu Teng Yu died, Niu Teng Yu grandma and grandfather anxious on fire plus by the public security shock, passed away one after another.
Niu’s mother said that in this case, the Parents of other young people were threatened and intimidated, suffering from diseases. “The parents are terrified, because this wrongful death case has led to several mothers being hospitalized with mental illness, some with cancer, and even more with depression, and they are very afraid.”
Authorities also threatened the lawyers, she said. The day before the trial, all the lawyers in Maoming, were concentrated in the Justice Bureau by the public security to make threats, confiscate electronic devices, and not even have the opportunity to defend themselves and not be allowed to speak.
On December 30, 2020, the Maoming City Maonan Court re-sentenced 24 young people in the first instance, with Niu Tengyu named as the main offender, receiving 14 years in prison and a penalty of 130,000 RMB for provocation, infringement of personal information and illegal business. Twenty-three other youngsters were also resentenced, nine of whom were minors.
On January 23, 2021, the police transferred the case to the prosecutor’s office for prosecution. The prosecutor’s office believes the case has too many loopholes, and in early February, after the parents of the 24 young people appealed en masse, the court refused to provide the case file, but urged the lawyers to submit defense statements, showing signs of dismissing the appeal and speeding up the case.
The verdict is too full of loopholes and too obvious
Under pressure from many parties, the court has now suspended the operation, Niu’s mother said.
She disclosed: “The media, well-wishers are calling the court, parents are also united to sue the public security, under the intervention of many parties, the court suspended, but still do not allow lawyers to access the file, because the verdict on the loopholes are too much, too obvious.”
Niu’s mother pointed out that the verdict “the defendant Niu Tengyu crime facts” (page 10) says: Niu Tengyu published 8 comments, uploaded 20 pictures, a total of 748 user contributions. Among them, 51 entries were created by the user “ESU DMCA Agent”, including the infringement of citizen information: Li Mou – Bad Dog Wiki, Zhang Moupeng, Liu Mouquan.
From the above verdict, Niu Tengyu only has 285 contributions. It is the member with the least contribution value to the vicious website, but was made the “main offender”. Those with thousands of contributions are accessories, isn’t that ridiculous!
The first page of the verdict says: “Niu Tengyu was detained on August 22, 2019, on suspicion of aiding criminal activities in the information network,” indicating that Niu Tengyu is not the main culprit at all.
On Feb. 8, the parents of the 10 sentenced sent a joint letter to the judicial authorities in Guangdong Province and Beijing, saying that the loopholes in the Maoming court’s verdict and the unjust outcome would be a great shame in Chinese legal history.
Niu’s mother said a week has passed and they have not received any feedback. “We decided to sue, a piece to Beijing is the intention, we ordinary people can still do what? There is no result is an unknown ah.”
