North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s wife Ri Seol-joon has shown up! After more than a year of seclusion, North Korean official media released photos of Lee Seol-joon accompanying Kim Jong-un to a commemorative performance of the Kwangmyongsong Festival in Mansudae, surprisingly without the crowd wearing masks or keeping social distance.
The company has been in hiding for more than a year, causing speculation that she has health problems and that she is pregnant. The last Time Lee Seol-joon was seen was on the first day of the Lunar New Year last year, when she also watched the show with Kim Jong-un.
Australia’s ABC pointed out that unlike the previous official releases, Kim Jong-un and Lee Seol-joon watched the show without masks, next to each other, and did not even keep social distance.
