The Gateway Pundit reported Tuesday that Judicial Watch is suing Capitol Police for emails and videos related to the Jan. 6 riot.
Earlier, Capitol Police told Judicial Watch that the requested information was not public record and they did not need to turn it over.
Judicial Watch announced Tuesday that it filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Capitol Police seeking emails and videos related to the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Capitol Police) 1:21-cv-00401.
After the Capitol Police responded to the January 21, 2021 request with a refusal to provide any records, Judicial Watch filed suit under the common law right of access to public records.
