The U.S. Senate began its fourth day of trial on the impeachment of former President Donald Trump on the 13th, and is expected to vote in the early hours of the 14th at the earliest, Taiwan Time. The House of Representatives impeachment side has been repeatedly exposed for allegedly manipulating evidence by means of video editing in the prosecution and now it has been confirmed that the impeachment manager, Democratic California U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, who was involved in the Chinese female spy case, framed Trump with fake “blue label tweets”!

According to Fox News, Swalwell’s staffers admitted that they added “blue verification tags” to the pro-Trump tweets they cited in testimonial evidence. The Trump defense criticized this as effectively editorial manipulation of false testimony, but Swalwell denied tampering with the evidence, arguing that it was “unintentional” and refused to correct the error.

Twitter is open to ordinary users to apply for the “blue tick” certification. After authentication, a blue check mark will appear on a Twitter user’s profile to let people know that the account is genuine.

Swalwell cited two tweets from Jennifer Lynn Lawrence, a well-known female Trump fan, in her previous trial testimony. Swalwell is suspected of using graphics software to put blue checks on both tweets. However, Lawrence came out and clarified that her Twitter account and tweets do not have blue check marks.

The American political news site Axios kicked out last December that Christine Fang, a Chinese with a suspected Chinese spy background, had infiltrated California politics to target up-and-coming Democratic politicians, and revealed the peachy details of how she had entered the political circle step by step, while also having sexual relations with some political figures, with Swalwell being one of the main targets. Fang Fang had intimate interactions with Swalwell and others, and had “romantic or sexual relationships” with at least two Midwestern mayors.

Schiaverville has been vocal about his injustice, suggesting that President Trump was behind the story, emphasizing that he may have pushed hard for Trump’s removal and was retaliated against.

Since Trump took office in 2017, Swalwell has been taking the wind out of Trump’s sails with “Trump’s private connections to Russia. He has been chosen by House Democratic Speaker Nancy Pelosi to be Trump’s manager for the second impeachment case.
