According to Bloomberg news just now, White House deputy spokesman TJ Ducklow announced his resignation on Twitter. Previously, he was suspended for threatening a reporter.

In the tweet, Daklow wrote: “Words cannot express my regret, embarrassment and disgust at my actions. I used language that no woman should ever hear, especially when she was just trying to do her job. It was abhorrent, rude and unacceptable language.”
Daklow added, “(It) was embarrassing and disappointing to my fellow White House staffers and President Biden, and I am extremely disturbed that after discussions with White House communications leadership tonight, I resigned my job and will not be returning from administrative leave.” According to Daklow, “I know it sucks. I know I can’t take that back. But I also know I can learn from it (and do better in the future) ……”
For the White House, reports say White House Press Secretary Jean Psaki said in a statement, “After discussing with TJ Daklow tonight, we accepted his resignation.”
