Biden Fires Prosecutors Investigating Democrat Corruption Bipartisan Condemnation

Biden fired a prosecutor overseeing a corruption investigation of Democrats in Illinois (Illinois for short). The move sparked a bipartisan outcry from lawmakers.
The Epoch Times reports that Democratic congressional senators, Republican House members and the Illinois Republican Party all condemned the firing of Chicago U.S. Attorney John Lausch.
U.S. federal prosecutors are appointed by the president, and usually a new president will ask almost all prosecutors appointed by the previous president to resign at the beginning of a new administration, but Lausch has received rare bipartisan support. When former President Trump appointed Rausch, Rausch had the support of Senators Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) and Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.), both Democrats.
Durbin is now the Senate Majority Whip and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He and Duckworth issued a joint statement saying the Biden Administration did not seek their advice on firing Rausch and urging Biden not to fire him immediately.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the two Democratic lawmakers wrote in the statement, “While we agree with the Biden administration’s criminal justice agenda, we are disappointed with the decision to terminate federal prosecutor Rausch without consulting us. in 2017, our nonpartisan screening committee gave Mr. Rausch for the position, and the Senate unanimously confirmed him.”
“While the President has the authority to remove a U.S. Attorney from office, there is precedent for a U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, to remain in office to complete a sensitive investigation. We believe Mr. Rausch should be allowed to remain in office until his successor is confirmed by the Senate, and we urge the Biden administration to allow him to do so.”
Carefully Chosen Cut Video of Impeachment Report on Trump Revealed in 75 Lies
U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) are pictured speaking at a joint news conference at the Capitol on Nov. 12, 2020.
On Tuesday (Feb. 9), as the U.S. Senate hears the impeachment case against former President Donald Trump, Democrats used an edited video to smear Trump for directly instigating the violence that stormed Congress on Jan. 6 in an attempt to convict him. Former Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) said the Democrats’ manipulation of the edited video has violated the House Rules. Also, the report on Trump’s impeachment has been noted to contain at least 75 lies.
Former Utah U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a Fox News contributor, tweeted that the video played on the first day of the impeachment trial by Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin, the House’s chief impeachment manager, was a “cherry-picked clip The video, shown by Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin on the first day of the impeachment trial, was “cherry-picked clips.
Chaffetz said that according to page 34 of the House Rules, the intention to mislead the public by electronic means or social media dissemination, distortion or manipulation of the production of any image, audio and video files may be subject to disciplinary action by the House of Representatives.
And at least 75 lies were found in the report provided by the Democrats to impeach Trump.
Jeffrey Lord, an aide to former President Ronald Reagan and a contributing editor and Writer for the conservative online magazine The American Spectator, detailed the lies on his website Tuesday and gave the corresponding factual basis.
Lord said that after reading the 77-page report provided by the Democratic Party, he “found 75 deliberate lies or misrepresentations, which means there is one on almost every page.”
Trump Lawyer Ends Impeachment “Fight” in 3 Hours
Pictured are Trump attorneys Bruce Castor (left, Bruce Castor) and Michael van der Veen arriving at the Capitol on Feb. 12, 2021.
Former President Donald Trump’s impeachment defense attorneys finished their three-hour debate on the Senate floor of Congress at 3 p.m. Feb. 12 and summarized their statements. The lawyers denounced the Democratic impeachment manager’s approach as a political witch hunt, manipulation of hate speech against Trump and showed videos of Democrats using similar hate speech speeches. Senate Republicans praised the performance of the defense attorneys because of the strong defense conducted by Trump’s lawyers.
The day’s debate by Trump’s lawyers focused on the idea that Trump’s speech did not incite people to storm Congress and talked about the carefully edited video by Democrats, which they said was actually a political hit and a siege.
At the meeting, Trump’s lawyers showed dozens of video clips showing some of those Democratic senators serving on juries using words like hate speech to motivate listeners in speeches against Trump or in support of last year’s left-wing protesters.
Several video clips showing top Democrats such as the House impeachment manager, President Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) calling on (people) to “fight” for years as an illustration of Trump’s use of the word on Jan. 6 was not an incitement to violence in the Capitol, but was protected by the First Amendment as a political speech.
Cruz meets with Trump’s legal team, convinced no conviction possible
Heavyweight U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) met with former President Trump’s impeachment defense team Thursday (Feb. 11), after which he said there was “no chance” the Senate would convict President Trump for the Jan. 6 riots in Congress.
On “Fox News Tonight” on Feb. 11, Sen. Cruz said, “There is no chance of convicting him (President Trump) by 67 votes anyway. All 100 senators know it, the impeachment manager in the House knows it, everybody in both houses of Congress knows it.”
Cruz stressed that, in addition, there should not be a vote on whether to convict Trump because the House impeachment managers have “no evidence in their case” that Trump committed a high crime or misdemeanor.
He said, “In the two days and 16 hours it took to bring the case to court, they were too far from proving that President Trump’s actions violated the laws that constitute sedition.”
Democrats may invoke constitutional amendment to block Trump from holding public office if impeachment fails
U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer speaks to the media in the Senate reception room on Feb. 10, 2021.
U.S. Democratic Senate leader Chuck Schumer (Chuck Schumer) has hinted that if the Senate impeachment trial fails to convict former President Trump, the Democratic Party may consider invoking the 14th Amendment to the Constitution to prohibit Trump from holding any future public office in the federal government through legislation.
According to Fox News, Democratic senators have recently been discussing the possibility of invoking the 14th Amendment if the impeachment trial fails to convict Trump, in order to prevent him from holding federal office in the future.
At a press conference held on Feb. 11, a member of the media asked a related question, to which Schumer replied, “We’re going to finish the impeachment trial first, and then the Democrats will get together and decide where to go next.”
U.S. media believe that Schumer’s response is a hint that it is tantamount to “opening the door” for the Democrats to invoke the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.
The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that “no person engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the government of the United States shall hold any public office. The amendment expressly states that Congress “shall have power to pass appropriate legislation to carry out the provisions of this article.
Republicans discuss innovation party against Trump, many anti-Trump senior opposition
More than 100 Republicans opposed to former U.S. President Donald Trump recently met to discuss the formation of a new party, claiming that the move is intended to weaken Trump’s influence. But the results showed that only about 40% of the participants supported the creation of a new party, while others preferred to form another faction under the framework of the Republican Party.
According to Reuters, more than 120 “anti-Trump” Republicans held an online meeting on the 5th to study the issue of leaving the Republican Party and forming a new party or new faction. However, the idea was opposed by many senior Republicans, including Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, chairman of the House Republican Conference, who supports Trump’s impeachment.
Some Republicans also believe that forming a new party apart from the GOP would deny the party access to the vast political resources and manpower it has accumulated since its founding, and even lose access to its donors and voters. Building a new party from “scratch” could take years to decades.
Alex Conant, a Republican who is a strategy expert and former adviser to Republican Senator Rubio (Marco Rubio), believes that it will be difficult for the new party to function if it lacks a charismatic leader to attract large voter support.
Former White House chief of staff: Trump plans to stay on stage
Pictured is former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows revealed Thursday (11) a new trend in Trump’s political plans, which will “continue to put America first, and he plans to stay on stage.
Meadows said he spoke with Trump on Wednesday and Thursday, telling former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka in an interview that Trump “continues to put America first and he plans to stay on stage” and that “America and 7.5 million voters want Trump to do what he wants, What America and 75 million voters want Trump to do is not over, and not all that he has to do for the country is done.”
White House deputy spokesman spared after threatening journalists to ruin you
Tara Palmeri, a reporter for Politico
The White House has suspended a deputy spokesman who had an affair with another reporter. It was previously reported that the spokeswoman threatened another reporter who was reporting on the relationship.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed in a social media post that TJ Ducklo has been suspended for a week and that “in addition, when he returns, he will no longer be assigned to work with any reporter at Politico.”
Ducklo had been dating Alexi McCammond, a reporter for the U.S. short news site Axios, it was revealed. Tara Palmeri, a reporter for Politico, was working on a story about the relationship when she contacted Ducklow about it.
According to a story published earlier Friday, Dacrow threatened Palmeri as a result and had told her, “I’m going to ruin you.”
Psaki said Dacrow “has apologized to the reporter and they did have a heated conversation about his personal Life.”
Florida’s travel restrictions by Biden? The governor is adamantly opposed, calling it unconstitutional
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
In response to reports that the Biden administration may impose domestic travel restrictions on Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis denounced the idea as “unconstitutional” and a political persecution of Floridians.
The Miami Herald reported Wednesday (Feb. 10) that the Biden administration is considering whether to restrict domestic travel to areas including Florida.
“I think it’s unconstitutional, unwise and unjust,” DeSantis said at a news conference Thursday (Feb. 11).
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said they are monitoring the mutated CCA virus known as B.1.1.7 (New Coronavirus), which was first discovered by British scientists and has recently been prevalent and spreading in Florida and California, where it already accounts for more than one-third of all cases in the United States.
DeSantis added that he is not sure why the Biden administration has made restricting travel to Florida a primary goal, knowing that the administration faces numerous other tasks, such as other states with outbreaks worse than Florida and the southern border allowing illegal immigrants (without testing) to enter. “If you consider the absurdity of the practice, the very harmful farce, of Americans being restricted in their freedom to travel domestically while (the administration) allows illegal immigrants to enter the southern border undisturbed.”
