The Breitbart News reported Friday that Biden met with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on the same day, after news broke that the state had covered up data on nursing Home deaths over concerns about a federal investigation by the Trump administration.

Biden spoke only about the $1.9 trillion Communist Party of China viral bailout package during the meeting and did not allow reporters in the room to ask questions.
On Cuomo’s nursing home scandal, reporters later got answers from White House press secretary Jen Psaki, who said Biden met with Cuomo and other state governors “not to rubber-stamp anyone’s approval, but to discuss the CCP virus bailout package.”
News broke Thursday that Cuomo ordered the admission of more than 9,000 recovering C.C.V. patients to New York state nursing homes and tried to cover up the death toll.
Cuomo’s chief aide, Melissa DeRosa, acknowledged Wednesday that the governor’s office covered up the nursing home death toll out of fear that federal prosecutors would use the numbers, in a political hit. DeRosa blamed Trump’s decision, saying he had turned nursing home deaths into a “giant political soccer.
Last August, the Justice Department announced that it would investigate nursing home deaths in states that admit coronavirus patients to nursing homes.
