RTHK will no longer broadcast “BBC International” and “BBC Current Affairs Week” from 11:00am on 12 February.
The State Administration of Radio and Television (SARFT) has informed that the application for BBC World News to continue to land in China in the new year will not be accepted.
A spokesman for RTHK said that according to the notification from the State Administration of Radio and Television, RTHK will no longer broadcast “BBC International” and “BBC Current Affairs Week” starting from 11pm tonight.
The spokesman said on the morning of the 12th, RTHK no longer broadcast is “BBC World News Channel”
