A couple was recently arrested for violating the law on providing biological specimens to the Chinese Communist Party, and it took more than a year before they were dealt with. Why is it still so slow when the evidence is overwhelming? There is speculation that they were unsuccessful in their attempt to exchange the two for the “Canadians” who had been arrested for over two years, so they were delayed. Why was this unsuccessful? Because these two couples are no longer valuable to the Communist Party, just like the great secret agent Jin Wuzi was discarded like a clog.
There is another recent case. Dr. Xu Zhiyong took credit for defending the authorities in the Qian Yunhui case, and was scorned for it. Why was he arrested and tortured again recently? This is also because he is now worthless to the Communist Party, and still commits taboo things, so don’t blame the Communist Party for not counting your good deeds. The Communist Party has never turned its back on anyone, and those who did great service to the Communist Party during the Cultural Revolution were even more wronged than you.
In Qinghai prison, I became good friends with Kuai Dafu and Han Aijing, the first and second mass leaders of the Cultural Revolution. At first they were still on the side of the Communist Party emotionally, but they just felt they had been wronged and could not see me as a pure counter-revolutionary. And during the Cultural Revolution, the leaders who competed on their own to get ahead were really not bad, and Kuai Dafu was the one who argued without any obstacles. I was just an intellectual tie with them, and finally became good friends without a fight. I remember that both of them said that Western Food was not good, it was all cold. I told them that the foreign embassy invited them to a reception, not a banquet, so it was all cold food. The translator at the embassy was also funny, actually writing Ms. Han Aijing on the invitation.
There are many secrets in Chinese Communist Party politics, which is called “opaque” in modern terms. I asked Kuai Dafu, why did he think of arresting Liu Shaoqi? That was not an act of trespass that ordinary people could think of. Old Kuai cried foul and said, “That was arranged by Old Mao himself. At that Time he was called to Lao Mao’s bedroom in Zhongnanhai, where Jiang Qing, Kang Sheng and Xie Fuzhi were present. Jiang Qing said, “Let Lao Kuai come out to arrest Liu Shaoqi. Lao Kuai said, “Why don’t you just let Comrade Fuzhi do it? Jiang Qing rebuked him and said: According to the Party’s rules, subordinates cannot arrest their superiors, but there is a law that says the masses should turn over the bad guys. You are the masses, Liu Shaoqi is a bad guy, and it is legal to transfer to Comrade Fuzhi.
I said, “Isn’t the arrest of Liu Shaoqi one of your crimes? Why didn’t you say so in the court? Lao Kuai was wronged, saying that their judges as if they did not hear. I thought about it and felt a numbness in my spine. With what I had seen and heard in the cadre circle in Beijing, I did not expect the Communist leaders to be so black and shameless. So I kindly advised them both: You have to thank the judge for not hearing you, he was protecting you – if he had reflected these things, maybe the CCP would have been silenced. Don’t talk about this in your appeals in the future, it looks like you’ll have to take the blame for the Communist Party for the rest of your lives. Don’t think that the Communist Party’s public prosecutors are people with a conscience. Many of those who tried your case and the case of Lin Biao and the Gang of Four were reformed rightists and had a minimum of conscience. Others are not sure, people can not always rely on luck.
After making such great achievements for Mao Zedong, they were arrested after only two or three years; after years of mass dictatorship, they were arrested by Deng Xiaoping and sentenced to imprisonment. They feel more wronged than Dou E. That is according to the logic of the thinking of the common people in the opera, who think that after making great achievements, they can be proud of their merits and hold the golden ticket in their hands. But this is not the way of thinking of the Communist Party. Most of the bureaucrats who made it out of the Communist Party are ruthless and untrustworthy people. Once you are useless or harmful to the Communist Party, you will be abandoned like a clog without saying a word, with few exceptions. At the end of the 1970s, there were still many reformed rightists in the public prosecutor’s office, and sometimes they would do something good in good conscience. The judges and lawyers I contacted fought against their superiors in good conscience and got me a 15-year sentence without losing my head. Afterwards, they all suffered serious consequences for this. It is one of the characteristics of the Chinese Communist cult that if you have a conscience, you should be punished. Can we still expect the Communist Party to have a conscience now? Those who take credit for the party should take this as a warning.
