Harvard study: high concentrations of heptafluorobutyric acid in blood susceptible to severe martial lung disease

Harvard TH Chan School of Public health (HSPH) recently found in a study that tap water may contain a man-made compound “heptafluorobutanoic acid” (perfluorobutanoic acid, hereinafter referred to as PFBA) if high concentrations accumulate in the body, people once infected with Wuhan pneumonia (new coronavirus disease, COVID-19) will be more likely to become seriously ill or even die. If high concentrations of PFBA accumulate in the body, people are more likely to become seriously ill or even die if they are infected with Wuhan pneumonia (novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19).

Comprehensive foreign wire reports, heptafluorobutyric acid is an artificial compound “perfluorinated alkyl carbon” (perfluorinated alkylate substances, hereinafter referred to as PFAS) of one, and earlier research found that PFAS may inhibit the body’s immune function. Harvard School of Public Health recently found in a study that people with higher concentrations of PFBA in their blood have a much higher risk of contracting Wuhan pneumonia and becoming seriously ill than people with lower concentrations of PFBA in their blood.

The Harvard study, cited in Newsmax, noted that PFBA is more likely to accumulate in the human lungs than other PFAS, so PFBA doubles the chance of people contracting Wuhan pneumonia.

The Harvard research team conducted blood screening tests for 323 Danish patients infected with Wuhan pneumonia, and they found that subjects with higher concentrations of PFBA in their blood were more likely to be hospitalized, admitted to intensive care units, or even die from Wuhan pneumonia than those with lower concentrations of PFBA.

The authors of the study also note that the results of this study suggest that they must conduct additional studies to examine whether other environmental toxins also exacerbate Wuhan pneumonia symptoms. The study was led by Philippe Grandjean, an adjunct professor of environmental studies at Harvard University, and the results were published on Dec. 31 of last year.

According to the non-profit online media “The Conversation” (The Conversation) reported that PFAS is called “permanent compounds” (forever chemicals) because they do not completely degrade in the natural environment, and PFAS is widely used in human Life because of its waterproof and grease-proof properties. PFAS are widely used in human life, such as non-stick pans, waterproof clothing, Food packaging, etc. The U.S. CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC) stated that PFAS can be concentrated in various organs, tissues, cells, and may lead to reduced immune function, testicular and kidney cancer, liver damage, infertility and other diseases.
