Parler’s Fired CEO Won’t Work With Trump

John Matze, the former CEO of social media platform Parler, said he didn’t want to work with President Trump because Trump might bully people in the company for what he wants to do, U.S. media outlet The National Archives reported Monday.”

In an interview with the left-wing organization Worth (Axios), Matze said he did not want to strike a deal with Trump to get him into Para because Trump “might bully people inside the company to do what he wants to do.” Martz did not specify what kind of bullying Trump was worried about.

Martz continued, “But I’m concerned that if we don’t sign the agreement, Trump may get his revenge and tell his followers to leave Para.”

Trump’s Trump Organization reportedly held talks with Parler to make Parler Trump’s preferred social networking platform for posting statements, and in return the group would own 40 percent of Parler.

Parler is still offline after President Trump was banned from Facebook and Twitter and Parler was denied hosting by Amazon Web Services.

Mazzie was fired by Parler’s board of directors on Jan. 29. In a statement, Martz implied that the Mercer Family had fired him from Para.
