The Gateway Pundit reported Monday (Feb. 8) that the former White House chief of staff unleashed a heavy dose of news on Fox, giving Democrats drunk on the power to impeach Trump a head start.
Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows appeared on Sunday Morning Futures Sunday morning, and in a discussion with host Maria Bartiromo, Meadows said Trump told Congress before the Jan. 6 protests occurred Building Police, the National Guard and even the Department of Defense with the aim of protecting Washington, D.C.
Meadows told the moderator, “Not just in January, but throughout last summer, President Trump told the mayor of Washington that the president was ready to have the National Guard help, but every Time he got a non-sequitur, the mayor of Washington said he could be safe without help. This is something that is going to be pursued to the end, and I hope to see an investigation launched in the near future.”
Meadows continued, “We also know that in January and throughout last summer, President Trump repeatedly said that we need to make sure we have enough National Guard, a lot of additional support because President Trump supports the rule of law and law enforcement and has offered more help as well.”
Meadows added, “Even in January, the Secretary of Defense had notified up to 10,000 National Guard troops to be on standby, a direct order from President Trump. Yet all we’re seeing now is blame for Trump, and saying these things requires accountability.”
He added, “Accountability must be maintained at the level it was meant to be, and this time it’s for Congress. “
The Palmieri Report said that once Meadows’ claims can be confirmed by documents, this will change the impeachment case. If Trump repeatedly provided security prior to the riots, then clearly Trump had no plans to incite the riots. Of course, we also have the fact that Trump publicly called for peace. Either way, it becomes increasingly clear what happened on the day of the Capitol riot.
Those on Capitol Hill were not doing their own part, warnings appeared and security measures were provided, yet they still refused to arrange for more security measures.
The Gateway Pundit says this video needs to be sent to that nasty liar Liz Cheney.
The Palmieri Report was founded four years ago by Jacob Palmieri, then 19 years old. Since its inception, the pro-American news network has had more than 2 million page views and over 20,000 followers.
