Yang Hao, a Beijing-based petitioner, was lured away from her rented apartment on January 21 by Beijing police on the pretext of testing her nucleic acid, and only on February 2 was her husband, Fan Shoushan, informed by local police that Yang Hao was being detained at the Huainan Detention Center.
A visitor went with Yang Hao to the police appointment and captured footage of her arrest. The video shows police officers from Beijing’s Madianqiao police station calling Yang Hao and saying they would take her for a nucleic acid test.
At around 2 p.m. on January 21, a police officer and plainclothesman from the Madianqiao police station drove a police car (license plate Jing-A4322) to meet Yang Hao near her rental house in Fangshan District. The police officer changed his mind immediately after seeing Yang Hao, saying that it was a matter of her petition that the local side had to deal with and take her to the relevant department to deal with it. Yang Hao said, “The relevant departments are not under the control of the police. The police officer said, “Your problem can’t be solved here. Yang Hao was taken away by force.
According to the visitor, “Yang Hao was not cautious enough because it was not under police control to do nucleic acid, and it was wrong for the police to let her go to do it. She didn’t know until she got there, but it was too late.
Yang Hao’s good friend Li Guangyu said, “Yang Hao’s husband called and said that Yang Hao was sent to the Huainan Detention Center, and may have to be sentenced to ‘provocation and nuisance’.
Li Guangyu said, “Yang Hao suffers from quite serious diabetes, these inhumane!
On February 2, he was informed by the local police that Yang Hao was being held in criminal detention at the Huainan Detention Center on suspicion of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble. I want to write to the Ministry of Public Security, but they are not suppressing petitioners. It’s a mess! Fan Shoushan said.
Yang Hao was sent to the Haidian District Dongsheng Police Station on the afternoon of Jan. 21 and was set up as a fugitive wanted on the Internet, so that the Beijing Public Security Bureau would find out and have to hand him over to the local authorities. At about 5 p.m. that day, Yang Hao’s cell phone was no longer available.
