The Ministry of National Defense confirmed at noon on the 4th that a U.S. warship, sailing from north to south through the Taiwan Strait, continued to travel south. The Ministry of National Defense pointed out that the U.S. ship carried out a general navigation mission through the Taiwan Strait, and the national army used the joint situation monitoring and detection as a whole to grasp the dynamics of our surrounding sea and airspace, and the situation is normal.

The USS John S. McCain (DDG 56), a Burke-class destroyer, routinely passed through the Taiwan Strait on February 4 in accordance with international law, fulfilling the commitment of the U.S. team to open up the Indo-Pacific freedom.

At the end of last year, after the U.S. Army’s Burke-class destroyer USS Muscatine passed through the Taiwan Strait, the next day the Chinese Communist Party‘s aircraft carrier “Shandong” battle group also crossed the Taiwan Strait.

Yu Beichen believes that the U.S. military is to show the Chinese Communist Party that this is not your internal sea, the whole world can go this way, the U.S. military first take the lead to go; but the U.S. forefoot to go, Shandong ships must go, to declare that this side is his internal sea, so the two sides in the Taiwan Strait of rivalry.
