A team of experts from the World health Organization (WHO) is “investigating” the origin of the Chinese Communist Party’s virus in Wuhan. According to public reports, the Chinese Communist Party is not only responsible for the WHO mission’s itinerary, but has also arranged for them to visit a so-called “anti-Epidemic achievement exhibition. According to WHO experts, the questions they ask of respondents have to be submitted to the Chinese Communist Party two days in advance for official approval.
On February 3, the French broadcaster released a SKY interview with Peter Daszak, an expert on the WHO mission, describing the trip to Wuhan.
In the interview, Daszak praised the “openness” and “cooperation” of Chinese Communist Party officials and said the investigation was “moving in the right direction.
He mentioned that when experts operate in foreign countries, they are required to comply with local government regulations and obtain various permits. But he also acknowledged that the mission faced more constraints in China this Time because the issue of the traceability of the Communist virus has been “politicized for a year” and “has become very sensitive.
Dasak also stressed that the mission was visiting markets “without Chinese leadership,” talking to market managers, merchants and residents and asking “sensitive questions. But he then mentioned that the mission needed to submit its questions to local people two days in advance by email to Communist Party officials in order to receive permission.
Dasak also mentioned the mission’s visit to the Chinese “anti-epidemic museum. He argued that it was also “very important” to express the local “pride in the victory over the new virus” in Wuhan.
After nearly a year’s delay, the Chinese Communist Party finally granted permission for foreign experts to visit China to investigate the disease on the ground. But outsiders generally questioned the relationship between WHO and the Chinese Communist Party and did not have high hopes for the results of the investigation.
Chinese officials reported that the WHO investigation team had visited Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, the South China Seafood Market and the Hubei CDC, and also visited the so-called “Wuhan Epidemic Fighting Achievement Exhibition”.
A video circulated on the Internet showed that everywhere the mission bus went, there was tight “security” to separate the mission from the public and media reporters. Netizens suspect that the investigation mission to visit places, meet with whom, what information, may be arranged by the Chinese Communist Party official.
