Hawley Fundraising Surge After Challenging Electoral College Vote Results
U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley (D-Pa.) raised objections to Pennsylvania’s electoral vote results at a joint session of Congress on Jan. 6, and some major corporations stopped contributing to Hawley’s re-election campaign. But Hawley’s fundraising last month added 12,000 new contributors.
The office of Sen. Hawley, a Missouri Republican, released a memo Monday (Feb. 1) showing his campaign netted nearly a million dollars in January and saying 12,000 new donors came on board.
The campaign has now raised about $2.1 million as Hawley intends to seek re-election in 2022.
“It’s clear that the majority of Missouri voters and donors are firmly on Senator Hawley’s side, despite the constant and misguided attacks from the radical left.” Hawley pollster Wes Anderson said.
Hawley’s team said he received the fundraising money despite “aggressive attacks from Democrats across the country” after he opposed certifying Pennsylvania’s electoral votes on Jan. 6.
While condemning the violence at the Capitol, Hawley said he will never apologize for speaking out on behalf of the millions of Missourians and Americans who are concerned about the integrity of America’s elections.
“This is my job, and I will continue to do it.” Hawley said in a statement last month.
He later added that he was not trying to overturn the election results, but simply expressed concern about the integrity of the election.
Impeachment trial Graham warns Dems not to call witnesses
Speaking to Fox News Channel on Feb. 1, Graham, the senior Republican senator from South Carolina, said, “To my Democratic colleagues, if you try to call witnesses, you will destroy the U.S. Senate. Don’t do that. Let’s get this botched farce over with.”
The Trump impeachment trial is set to begin the week of Feb. 8.
Graham said he was disappointed in President Joe Biden for not preventing a second impeachment of Trump.
Graham also said he believes Democrats are afraid of the leftists in their own party who are calling not only for Trump’s impeachment, but also for the expulsion of senators and representatives who challenged the Electoral College vote in swing states in a joint session of Congress.
Graham said, “It was a great meeting today with Senator McConnell. I think every Republican sees the House process as an affront to the presidency and to due process.”
White House Reporter Outraged: Biden Team Pre-Trial Briefing Questions
Pictured is White House press secretary Jen Psaki speaking at the daily press briefing on Jan. 25.
President Joe Biden has been in office for less than two weeks, and reporters are furious. Reporters to the White House spokesman Psaki (Jen Psaki) questions even need to go through the Biden staff pre-screening, although journalists have been very “friendly” to Biden, but the Biden team this move makes journalists feel very worried.
Several U.S. media reported on Feb. 1 that Biden’s staff pre-screened reporters before Psaki’s briefing to see what questions they planned to ask.
The Daily Beast, which cited three sources with knowledge of the situation and reviewed written communications, revealed that the Biden Administration, less than two weeks into its tenure, has regularly probed reporters to find out what questions they plan to ask at the briefings.
Those requests have raised concerns among the White House press corps. Like many reporters, they are sensitive to the notion of maintaining coherence with the political communications staff.
One reporter raised the issue during an informal Zoom conference call with the White House Correspondents’ Association last Friday. According to multiple sources, leaders at the meeting advised reporters to rebuff requests from the White House press team to learn about the issue in advance or simply not respond to inquiries from the Biden team. One White House reporter said, “It’s reassuring though that the briefings were resumed, especially since there was also a commitment to provide truthful information. But reporters can’t really do their job in the briefing room if the White House picks and chooses the questions they want.” “It’s not really freedom of the press at all.”
Another source said, “It pisses off enough reporters and reflects back to the White House Correspondents’ Association for them to deal with it.”
Biden on Stage,China-US Cold War Stopped Just as it Began?
The White House team members and cabinet members are mostly Obama-era officials who once belonged to the “panda-embracing faction” that built the “U.S.-China honeymoon,” and naturally refuse to admit that they are the “pavers” of the Chinese Communist Party. Naturally, they refuse to admit their mistake of paving the way for the “rise” of the CCP. According to the original intention and habitual thinking of these people, they naturally want to end the Cold War as soon as possible and return to their familiar track of “dialogue and cooperation. This is exactly what the Chinese Communist Party is calling for at this moment.
One characteristic of the “panda-embracing” officials and scholars is that they do not like the Cold War, nor do they understand it. Some of them even hope that it would be better for the U.S. and China to leave the Cold War so that they can avoid this problem. For the U.S., this Cold War between China and the U.S. came about as a result of Obama and his predecessor’s misguided policy toward China, which led to a serious lack of preparation.
When the Chinese Communist Party, the “panda”, “holds a sharp blade in its hand” and presses forward, what can the “panda huggers” do, continue to hug? As it turns out, the “panda huggers” are learning how to face the reality of the Cold War between China and the United States. In fact, they can not eliminate the cold war between the United States and China, because the one wearing the “panda” coat is actually a “red tiger” fed by the United States strong. It is common knowledge in the history of the Cold War that the “red tiger” wants to eat people.
German media: Biden advisers lobbying for a boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics European reaction unexpected
The Central News Agency reported that German media, citing diplomatic sources, reported that the United States is trying to lobby European countries to unite to boycott the Beijing Winter Olympics next year, but European countries reacted lukewarmly.
The German weekly “Wirtschaftswoche” quoted diplomatic sources as reporting that Biden’s advisors are trying to lobby European countries to boycott the Winter Olympics in Beijing next February in protest of the oppression of the Uighur minority in Xinjiang, and that the U.S. government intends to enact a bill to ban U.S. citizens from participating in the Beijing Winter Olympics.
However, one of the reasons for the lukewarm response so far in Europe is that Paris will host the Summer Olympics in 2024, and European countries fear that if they boycott the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Chinese Communist Party will boycott the Paris Olympics as a countermeasure, which one industry representative warned would be a “serious oops.

Kaplan admitted that one of the main causes of the current status quo is that there is a lot of liquidity in the market, which is related to the Federal Reserve’s acquisition of at least $80 billion of U.S. bonds and $40 billion of mortgage-backed securities each month.
Florida “declares war” on five tech giants for censoring speech
Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has warned several technology giants that they will face serious consequences if they violate the privacy of Florida residents or interfere with voters’ access to candidates in future elections.
In a Feb. 2 press conference, Florida Gov. DeSantis criticized tech companies such as Facebook, Twitter and Google for manipulating information on their platforms and censoring information from citizens. He said, “Floridians deserve to have the security of enjoying data information and personal information, unrestricted participation in online platforms and, more importantly, they should not be interfered with by tech giants so they can freely participate in election campaigns.”
According to a new Florida law, if a candidate is restricted on a tech company’s social media platform during an election, the company will be subject to a $100,000 per day fine until the social platform reinstates the candidate’s account. In addition, according to the Florida Election Commission, if a company publicly supports one candidate and opposes another, this constitutes an act of political campaign contribution.
The Florida Unfair, Fraudulent Transactions Act also requires that technology companies give customers advance notice before closing a user’s account or modifying rules. In addition, the Florida Attorney General will have the authority to take action to restrain or oppose misconduct by technology companies.
DeSantis said, “These online platforms are supposed to be neutral, allowing Americans’ freedom of expression to be fully demonstrated. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case, and these platforms seem to be playing a decisive role in the election, hurting Americans in turn.” The governor said big tech companies have recklessly changed the rules to make them favorable to themselves while suppressing American citizens. He called for a public debate on the speech-censorship practices of these tech giants.
